E-MAP

Enhanced MAP process for fresh vitamin products

How can packaged fruit and vegetables be protected from drying out or spoiling when their specific metabolic processes are set in motion in the packaging?

Our innovative E-MAP process (Equilibrium Modified Atmosphere Packaging), a further development of the conventional MAP process, provides regulation. It keeps the oxygen content in the fresh packaging at a level between 2 and 6 per cent, which is favourable for fruit and vegetables. High-tech films, which are precisely adapted to the specific breathing properties of the respective fresh produce, ensure controlled oxygen permeability.

This ensures that an optimised atmosphere is permanently maintained inside the packaging – so that your product will look appealingly fresh, have the best taste and a pleasant smell.
